Kerry was born and raised in Mt. Vernon. He has been married to Tonya for 45 years. They have 2 boys, Justin and Chase.

Kerry has served as a deacon for 25 years. Since retiring from Continental Tire, Kerry enjoys hunting, golfing, and hanging out with his 5 grandkids.
